CROCHET HEART AMIGURUMI PATTERN + TUTORIAL

Hi Crochet Lovers!!!

 Valentine's Day is approaching so I'm here today with a HEART TUTORIAL! :) We will crochet step-by-step this cute amigurumi heart:

You can crochet in any material, any weight. Just keep in mind that you will need a smaller hook, so that your stitches are tight.

 Here is the FREE WRITTEN PATTERN for this crochet heart. Down below you will find the VIDEO TUTORIAL, explained step-by-step. Let's get our hooks ready and crochet this heart!

 STITCHES USED:

sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc on same st)
dec = decrease ( 2 st become 1 sc, watch the tutorial to get it right)

PATTERN:

Start with magic ring. ch 2.

Row 1: 6 sc on magic ring [count 6 st]

Row 2: 6 inc  [count12 st]

Rows 3 and 4: 12 sc  [count 12 st]
End Row 4 with slip stitch. Cut the yarn.

Repeat another piece with same instructions. Do not cut the yarn. Attach both pieces with following row.

Row 5: 24 sc, 12 on each piece [count 24 st]

Row 6: 5 sc, 1 dec, 10 sc, 1 dec, 5 sc [count 22 st]

Row 7: 4 sc, 1 dec, 9 sc, 1 dec, 5 sc  [count 20 st]

Row 8: 4 sc, 1 dec, 8 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc
[count 18 st]

Row 9: 4 sc, 1 dec, 7 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc
[count 16 st] good moment to start filling the heart

Row 10: 3 sc, 1 dec, 6 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc
[count 14 st]

Row 11: 3 sc, 1 dec, 5 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc
[count 12 st]

Row 12: 2 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc
[count 10 st]

Row 13: 2 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc, 1 dec, 1 sc
[count 8 st]

Row 14: 2 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc, 1 dec
[count 6 st]

Cut the yarn leaving a long thread. With the remaining thread and a yarn needle, go through each st of the last row. Pull the thread to close tightly.  
Sew as well the possible hole left on between the 2 pieces from the beginning.
